About the Company
Varzesh3, with more than 12 years of experience, is the most visited online Persian media worldwide. As the company’s lead social media graphic designer, I got the chance to design a complete layout for FIFA World Cup 2022 and also featured artwork during the tournament. It was crucially significant to create different templates to be filled and published in seconds.
Concept
The world cup is the most significant event for every sports media. I designed a visual branding for the social media in Varzesh3 based on the World Cup 2022 theme.
What Did I Do?
I analyzed the colors and shapes used in “fifa.com” and “qatar2022.qa” for the right choice in designing the social media layout. The Arabian culture inspires the colors and the theme of the World Cup 2022. Considering the fact that our native language in Iran is Persian, we have so much in common with the Arabic language. So, I had much fun designing the layout.
Problem & Solution
Problem
One of the main challenges in Varzesh3 is publishing the news ASAP! In this World Cup, I decided to post more artworks, which could be critical when speed is the main priority.
Solution
I designed all the templates like fixtures, results, and group tables so they could be ready just seconds after the final whistle. I created the elements so that making changes in the template may be just some clicks away. All the games of the group stage with all 32 country flags had been aligned and were ready to publish before the world cup started. I designed the match result template to be prepared less than 30 seconds after the final whistle. All the key players from all 32 countries were cut into PNGs to use when needed.

I designed all of the possibilities for the knock-out stage in the template.

Scheduling
- Result of the game to be published seconds after the final whistle
- Group table to be published minutes after the end of the final game of the group
- Results of the day to be published seconds after the final whistle of the last match of the day
- Match prediction to be published 24 hours before the match starts with the poll sticker in instagram story
